Dr. Rajendran earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine (2018), making the Dean’s List all four years. While at Western University she also received the Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology Award for Excellence in Pathology (2018). As a Chesire, CT native, Dr. Rajendran returned to Connecticut to attend the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she achieved her Certificate in Periodontics and Masters of Dental Sciences (2021).
Dr. Rajendran recently joined the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Faculty member. She finds purpose in helping to shape and cultivate the next generation of Periodontists. Dr. Rajendran also contributed to a key online publication focused on Alveolar Ridge Preservation for Optimal Implant Placement. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Connecticut State Dental Association.
Dr. Rajendran has a passion for treating people, not just teeth. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and working with them so they understand their diagnosis and treatment options, allowing them to ultimately make an informed decision about their care.
