Dr. Daniel Rolotti is a board-certified periodontist with specialized expertise in esthetic and reconstructive periodontics, dental implantology, laser-assisted periodontal therapy, and treating the anxious patient. His clinical approach combines precision, innovation, and a deep dedication to patient care, hallmarks of Shoreline’s commitment to excellence.
A Philadelphia native, Dr. Rolotti earned his undergraduate degreefrom the University of Alabama before completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2013. After several years of practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Rolotti’s growing in complex surgical and restorative procedures led him to pursue advanced specialty training. He earned his Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Dental Science (M.D.Sc.) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Rolotti is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds certifications in both LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) and conscious sedation. As an adjunct professor at UConn School of Dental Medicine, he helps train the next generation of periodontists while staying engaged in the latest advancements in research and education. Dr. Rolotti is passionate about helping patients achieve both esthetically pleasing and functionally sound outcomes using the most advanced techniques available.
A respected leader in the dental community, Dr. Rolotti currently serves as President of the Middlesex Dental Society. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Connecticut Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association (ADA), and Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA). His commitment to advancing the field of periodontics is evident in both his clinical work and his service to organized dentistry.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Rolotti volunteers his time with organizations like the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, reflecting his belief in making quality care accessible to all.
Personal Statement
I’ve always believed that great dentistry goes far beyond technical skill, it starts with listening. What drew me to periodontics was the opportunity to not only transform smiles, but to truly transform lives by restoring health, confidence, and comfort. At Shoreline, I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with compassion and clinical excellence. Whether I’m treating advanced gum disease, placing dental implants, or helping a patient through a complex full-arch restoration, my goal is always the same: to provide care that’s meticulous, meaningful, and grounded in trust.
