IV Sedation Dentistry Will Help You Relax
We offer intravenous conscious sedation (IV sedation dentistry) to induce a deeper state of relaxation without putting you to sleep. Since IV sedation is administered through the bloodstream, it affects your body and mind within minutes. You will feel extremely drowsy, but will still be slightly awake and generally have no memory of the procedure. We typically recommend this form of sedation in conjunction with some of our more advanced therapies and treatments. IV sedation may also be suitable for patients who have difficulty getting numb or those who experience very high levels of anxiety in general.

Sedation for Dental Implants
Dental implant surgery is one of the more advanced procedures we perform at our practice, which is why we may recommend IV sedation dentistry as part of the treatment plan. If you are missing one or more teeth and are receiving dental implants to replace those teeth, our doctors will either perform surgery under IV sedation or local anesthesia. This alleviates any pain and discomfort you may experience during treatment without having to put you to sleep.
